This Savings Calculator is designed to provide a good indication of the savings that can be achieved with metallised Verosol shades. The results always compare a black and a white screen fabric versus the chosen Verosol fabric. The Verosol product provides energy savings, lower electricity consumption and monetary cost; reduction of subsequent carbon emissions, along with the added benefit of ensuring visual comfort.

Calculations are performed in a dynamic simulation tool using local climate data.

The simulation engine was created by the independently validated Lund University in Sweden.

When using the tool a short questionnaire has to be completed. Questions like the applicable energy rates and currency; the most common glass types and a variety of relevant shades can be selected. The tool simulates an office or room in a building and offers a (limited) set of options to configure the subject room.
